Ideal for health-conscious consumers of all ages

Modern consumers are increasingly taking pre-emptive actions to protect their wellbeing. Many recognise that diet is a fundamental way to address health concerns, often involving immunity and digestive health. As a food-derived Non-GMO Project Verified probiotic, 1. Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus HN001* (LactoB HN001™) is well poised to meet these needs.

Since the 1990s, extensive research has provided evidence that LactoB HN001™ supports digestive health by improving gut integrity and barrier function. In some cases, it may increase the availability of minerals in the diet. Additionally, LactoB HN001™ can improve immune biomarkers associated with pathogen protection and can support reduced levels of pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, in the gut.

Our investment in Non-GMO Project Verification

Health conscious consumers are concerned about food origin. In the US alone, 46% of consumers avoid genetically modified organisms (GMOs), with over a third purchasing more non-GMO products than a year ago (Hartman Organic and Natural Report 2018). For many health & wellness brands, non-GMO status is becoming a requirement to play.

To support these customers, NZMP has invested in third-party Non-GMO Project Verification. The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organisation committed to providing consumers with verified non-GMO choices. Their Non-GMO Project Verified seal is the most trusted non-GMO certification amongst consumers, providing assurance that our probiotics comply with the comprehensive Non-GMO Project standard.
