The event is Europe’s largest gathering of food and beverage professionals. It takes place annually in a major European city, uniting the world's leading food and beverage suppliers, research & development, production and marketing specialists to showcase the most diverse range of new and innovative ingredients and services.
This award recognises an organization or company for a measurable supply chain strategy that champions environmental, economic or socially sustainable practices in the F&B industry.
This award is a great tribute to all the hard work going on across the Co-op and an example of how we can be leaders in sustainability – delivering sustainable products and solutions to customers around the world.

The submission focused on the fantastic work happening across the Co-operative on sustainability. From on-farm through the Co-operative Difference, to Fonterra’s initiatives to reduce emissions – such as innovative methane solutions and renewable energy.
All of this enables us to offer sustainable products like NZMP Organic Butter – carbonzero™ certified – the hero innovation featured.
