Success for NZMP™ at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards

NZMP proudly takes the stage once again, earning an impressive 12 prestigious awards for our cheese and dairy ingredients at this year’s International Cheese & Dairy Awards. This success reflects the quality and consistency of our ingredients, as we continue a strong tradition of excellence, with our products impressing judges and standing out among global competition. We are incredibly proud to see our ongoing commitment to craftsmanship and innovation recognised in this way.

The International Cheese and Dairy Awards (ICDA) in the UK is one of the world’s largest and most competitive platforms, attracting over 4,000 entries each year. Entries are judged by a panel of over 250 experts, including master cheesemakers, cheese specialists, leading retail buyers, and acclaimed food writers. More than just a competition, the ICDA offers producers the opportunity to benchmark, gain recognition, and connect with the wider dairy community.

The event provides a valuable platform to showcase our New Zealand dairy products on a global stage, particularly following the New Zealand–UK Free Trade Agreement that came into effect in May 2023. With these barriers lifted, it enabled the return of significant dairy exports to the UK market, helping us rebuild historic relationships and open new opportunities. In doing so, we are continuing the long-standing and rich dairy history between New Zealand and the UK.

With an incredible 4,000 entries accepted, this year’s results are a strong reflection of the quality of our dairy products. Earning a total of 12 medals, NZMP’s continued success at the ICDA speaks to our dedication to quality and craftsmanship, as well as our proud heritage and global leadership in cheesemaking.
