Gold and Silver outcomes for NZMP at 2021 NZCOC Awards

This year’s 2021 NZ Champion of the Cheese Awards Competition saw great results across all of NZMP’s entries with 36 medals awarded to NZMP overall.

NZMP butter performed particularly well, receiving five gold medals across two categories. Meanwhile, all three NZMP cream cheese entries received a gold medal.

This was also the first year NZMP Organic Unsalted Butter with carbonzero™ certification was submitted for judging, winning a silver medal. To become carbonzero™ certified, Toitu Envirocare measures the impact of producing the NZMP Organic Unsalted Butter, all the way from farm and manufacturing, through to distribution and even the disposal of packaging by customers.

The 11 gold medal winners will be automatically entered into the Champion Awards Competition so keep an eye out for the results to be released in May.
