NZMP™ at Food Ingredients Europe 2025: Showcasing dairy innovation and expertise

We are excited to announce our team will be present at Food Ingredients Europe (FIE) 2025, held from December 2–4 in Paris, France. As one of the world’s premier events for food ingredients, health ingredients, food technology, and natural ingredients, FIE offers the ultimate opportunity to connect with industry leaders, discover novel innovations, and explore current trends shaping the future of food.

This year, we are proud to have Richard Allen and Elisa Giusti sharing their expertise in sponsored sessions at the event. On December 2, Richard Allen, President of Fonterra Global Ingredients, will take the stage at the Innovation Hub to talk about transforming volatility into value and the future of dairy. Following this, on December 3, Elisa Giusti, Fonterra’s Executive Vice President of Global Ingredients Growth, will share her expertise and insights as a panelist at the Future of Nutrition Lunch & Learn session.

Richard Allen

President Fonterra Global Ingredients

Richard was appointed President of Fonterra’s Global Ingredients business in August 2024, as the Co-op sharpened its focus on high-value ingredients and moved to divest its consumer brands. In March 2025, his remit expanded to include the Co-op’s Ingredients businesses in Greater China and Middle East Africa, aligning with Fonterra’s shift to a global, channel-led structure. Richard leads the business end-to-end – from sourcing and manufacturing through to customer partnerships – and plays a key role in unlocking growth with some of the world’s top food, beverage and nutrition companies.

Elisa Giusti leads global growth for Fonterra’s Ingredients business, overseeing the delivery of the Ingredients & Trading plan across key markets. Appointed EVP in October 2024, she is responsible for four strategic pillars: Customer Marketing and Regional Planning, Innovation and Technical, Transformation and Enablement, and New Business Development. Her remit also includes driving excellence in communications, sustainability, and pricing – all essential to Fonterra’s value creation strategy. Since joining Fonterra in 2019, Elisa has led major initiatives including a full regional business redesign and the development of the Co-op’s new ingredients strategy.
