Regular Buttermilk Powder

Our Buttermilk Powder is manufactured by spray drying buttermilk, which is derived from the manufacture of cream products. 

Features:

  • Good solubility
  • Uniform fat content
  • Phospholipid content typically 21% of the fat
  • Good emulsifying properties
  • Low salt content
  • Adds a rich, creamy flavour
  • Heat stable in standard evaporated milk and Ultra Heat Treated milk formulations

Flavored Milk Sub Application:

  • Naturally heat stable.
  • It is an excellent emulsifier allowing manufacturers to reduce the amount of stabilisers required in final formulations and could allow for a clean label.

Evaporated Milk Sub Application:

  • Heat stable in concentrated milk at in-can sterilisation temperatures
  • Good emulsifying properties.
  • Superior rich and creamy flavour.
