NZMP Gold Instant WMP is available in two product compositions:

  • Option 1:  26% Fat
  • Option 2:  28% Fat

To provide customers with a viable option for reducing costs, NZMP investigated the sensory impact of adjusting the composition of whole milk powder from 28% fat to 26% fat*.  Fonterra's expert Milk Powder Sensory Panel ascertained that whole milk powder with a milk fat composition of 26%, has an almost identical sensory profile to whole milk powder with a 28% milk fat composition.

Whole Milk Powder is hygroscopic and can absorb odours. Therefore adequate protection is essential. It is recommended that product is stored at below 25°C, relative humidity below 65% and in an odour free environment. Stocks should be used in rotation preferably within 24 months of manufacture.
