This ingredient has the following features:
- Uniform creamy yellow colour
- Mild cheddar flavour
- Firm, smooth texture
This ingredient can be used in the following applications:
- Shredding and slicing (2 to 8 months of maturity)
- Cutting into smaller retail units
- Melted in cooking and baking
- Table or snack cheese
For best functional performance, cheese should be used within 14 months from its date of manufacture, provided it is stored at the recommended temperature of 4°C
