  • Has all the important characteristics of long stretch, consistent melt, golden colour and appealing blister distribution to deliver an authentic and appealing pizza experience every time
  • Ready to use with minimal wastage for manufacturing effectiveness as it shreds easily with good yields and little mess
  • Easily blended with other NZMP cheeses for flavour variety
  • Halal, Vegetarian, Mui Halal

This ingredient can be used in the following applications:

  • Pizza and baked goods
  • Shreddded or slice retail industrial or catering packs
  • Pasta, rice, sandwiches and other dishers e.g. Asian and Mexican
  • Easily blended with other cheeses - for example NZMP Noble, NZMP Taupo and NZMP Egmont for flavour variety

NZMP Premium Chilled Mozzarella (NZ)

High performing natural mozzarella made from the milk of NZ grass fed cows. Consistently delivers excellent baking performance with a milky buttery flavour and light yellow colour.

Correct handling of NZMP Mozzarella will lead to good melt, good browning and good blister size, distribution and stretch.

Mozzarella Blends

You can blend mozzarella with other cheeses to create different offerings in your range such as flavour varieties, cost-effective, or reduced fat options. 

 

We recommend you use 75% mozzarella in your blend to achieve ideal stretch performance.  NZMP Noble™ and NZMP Egmont™ are great blending cheeses or if you are after a flavour punch try to include some NZMP Parmesan.

Frozen product should be stored and transported at -10°C or below.

Once thawed, do not refreeze. Store at between -2°C and 2°C and use within 14 days of thawing.
